Most people have the misconception that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is simply about the ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender differences, but as the saying goes, you cannot judge a book by its cover. DEI is not so much related to how we look but how we think.
On the surface, Diversity is bringing together people with differences and similarities in culture, socio-economic status, education, language, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, religion, expression, race, color, indigene, physical and mental disability, and political perspective, etc.
